Editorial method.

Mike Dellatte considers the documented corporate activity, professional conduct, public statements, and related matters examined here to be of public interest. The purpose is investigation, reporting, and the preparation of a book, not curiosity about private lives. Personal material is included only where Mike Dellatte considers it materially relevant to the documented story and lawful to publish.

The project distinguishes private life from public and professional identity. Where a person's name, face and professional standing were used to establish credibility around a company, claim or transaction, that role may remain part of the documented record.

Pages combine company and registry records, archived pages, correspondence, public statements, supplied material, and first-hand accounts. Source context is included where it helps readers understand the material.

The appearance of a person or organisation on this website does not, by itself, state or imply wrongdoing. People and organisations appear because the documented record places them within the story, and their role must be read from the specific material presented on the relevant page.

The site distinguishes documented facts from interpretation and from questions that remain unresolved. Where the author offers an interpretation, it is presented as such rather than as an established fact.

The author's voice, including irony, satire and other rhetorical devices, is an integral part of the writing. Such passages express commentary, opinion and judgement. They are not intended to assert additional facts beyond the documented material on which they are based and should be read in the context of the publication as a whole, together with the sources cited alongside it.
