Formation record

Al Masdar Investment GmbH was announced in the portfolio presentation at the Town Hall Meeting at Rosewood Munich Hotel on 27–28 November 2025. It was presented as the German vehicle that would process Al Masdar Investment W.L.L.'s business transactions in Europe.

On 5 December 2025, Christiansen and Liedtke appeared before notary Rainer Krick in Munich for the company's incorporation. The certified copy is set out in parallel English and German columns. It records Christiansen as resident in Doha, Qatar and Liedtke as resident in Schönau.

Both shareholders gave the same business address: Westenstr. 16a, 83376 Truchtlaching, Germany. The formation did not progress to a completed registration. The stated capital remains unpaid, and no company under this name has been located in the German commercial register as of 9 August 2026.

Author's observation

Ownership discrepancies.

The Town Hall booklet states that Al Masdar Investment GmbH was intended to be a 100% subsidiary of Al Masdar Investment W.L.L. The same booklet, however, assigns 50% to Henrik Christiansen and 50% to Malte Liedtke. The notarial incorporation act also records a 50/50 split. The supplied records do not explain how these ownership statements fit together.
