Partner · Lawyer and Tax Advisor · SNP Schlawien
Fabry is a lawyer, tax advisor, specialist lawyer for tax law, and a certified advisor for tax criminal law. At SNP Schlawien, his work sits at the intersection of tax law, corporate decision-making, private wealth, and long-term ownership strategy.
A central part of his practice is the design of national and international tax structures for larger medium-sized companies. He also advises family businesses and entrepreneurs on wealth planning, succession, and the transfer of substantial business and private assets.
His transactional work covers the tax dimensions of acquisitions, disposals, reorganisations, and investments. As a certified advisor for tax criminal law, he also focuses on preventing tax-related criminal exposure and helping companies build effective tax compliance structures.
Fabry studied law in Freiburg im Breisgau and Munich from 1982 to 1988 and completed his legal clerkship in Bavaria. He was admitted to the bar in 1990, qualified as a specialist lawyer for tax law in 1993, and was admitted as a tax advisor in 1994.
He began his career as a lawyer and tax assistant at KPMG Bayerische Treuhand in Munich. From 1995 to 2012, he served as managing director and partner responsible for tax law at Baker Tilly in Munich and its predecessor firms, followed by eight years as a partner at Luther Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft.
Since 2020, he has worked as a lawyer and partner at SNP Schlawien. In the same year, he received certification as an advisor for tax criminal law from the German Lawyers Academy.
Beyond client work, Fabry is a long-standing co-author of the GmbH-Beratung handbook on corporate and tax law published by Dr. Otto Schmidt. His publications address succession, family foundations, private equity, real estate transfers, employee participation, corporate restructuring, inheritance tax, and tax procedure.
His official SNP profile lists continuing recognition in Best Lawyers and Handelsblatt rankings for tax law, together with firm-level recognition for tax and inheritance-law work.
